Education and the Labor Movement: the Next Chapter”

Presented by Professor Sally Klingel,  Cornell University School of Industrial Relations

Sally Klingel is the director of labor-management relations programming for the Scheinman Institute, where she  teaches, trains and provides organizational change consulting services to labor and management groups nation-wide.  Professor Klingel has worked with many educators, particularly in partnership with NYSUT.  She will offer her expertise and insights to the many questions surrounding the impact of labor unions, the public “climate” around teacher contract negotiations and how educators can continue to move forward in light of recent obstacles.
