Still not clear on the changes taking place in NYS Social Studies?  Want to know more about how the new assessments blend content with skills? Want to know what your students need to know and be able to do to achieve success on the new exam?  Developing your understanding of the Enduring Issues Essay will help you answer these questions!

Donna Merlau, Associate in Instructional Services, Social Studies, at State Ed will come to CNY on October 5th to present a 3-hour interactive workshop for teachers of all grade levels.  Teachers will receive an update of information related to the new exam in Global History, review the current draft enduring issues essay, and develop a better understanding of how these essays can be created for your students.

Cost:

$10 for current members

$25 for new and renewing members (the combined cost of a $15 one-year membership and the $10 event).

Online registration is preferred.  Click here for additional event information.
