CNYCSS and the Onondaga Historical Association (OHA) are excited to offer this opportunity for members of CNYCSS and their family/friends!


Guided Underground Railroad Downtown Walking Tour & Museum Visit

Tour participants will walk from the Onondaga Historical Association to Clinton Square and back. Along the way, they will learn about leading personalities, events and places that figured prominently in the often-bitter debate in antebellum America over the issue of slavery. Stops will include the spot where Frederick Douglass first spoke in Syracuse, locations relevant to the 1851 Jerry Rescue episode, and more.

$12/CNYCSS Members

For family/friends of the CNYCSS member attending, the rate will be $12 for adults, and $10 for students in grades K-12.  Each registration will have to be completed separately through the member's account.

Please note this is an outdoor walking tour, so please dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable footwear.
